After a long summer of coding and debugging, Doors CS 7.0 has finally been released! This milestone comes three years since the last major release of Doors CS 6.0 in April 2007 and two years since the incremental release of Doors CS 6.2 in May 2008. Nine years since its humble beginnings as a crude BASIC shell, Doors CS 7.0 aims to bring a full set of features and rock-solid stability to users and coders alike. It supports MirageOS, Ion, Doors CS, and nostub BASIC and Assembly programs, and contains full support libraries for XLib, Celtic III, PicArc, (partially) Omnicalc, and the new DCSB Libs that let Doors CS coders use features like the DCS GUI. The HomeRun feature lets you execute any type of program, BASIC or ASM, archived or not, from the TI-OS homescreen. The Doors CS desktop lets you view your programs and folders, organize them into nested folders, cut, copy, rename, lock, archive, hide, and even edit programs, and change settings and options from the DCS Menu. Doors CS 7.0 adds more robust protect from data loss due to RAM Clears, including automatic restoration of the user's folder structure.

For ASM developers, Doors CS offers a full suite of features, adding the DCS GUI system, and Associated Program system that automatically opens files in their associated viewer/editor, and much more on top of a full complement of MirageOS and Ion-compatible libraries. BASIC programmers can take advantage of support for every popular BASIC library built directly into the shell. Full information about Doors CS can be found at http://dcs.cemetech.net, including a (very) exhaustive feature list and screenshots galore for your viewing pleasure.

Download Doors CS 7.0 today and unleash the full power of your graphing calculator!

TIEmu: beta-testing...

Hello everybody :)

I have uploaded at http://lpg.ticalc.or...loads/setup.exe a pre-version of TIEmu 3.04 no-GDB, for beta-testing purposes :)
(*nix users can try http://lpg.ticalc.or...nstall_tiemu.sh, start by looking inside the script)

Since TIEmu 3.03, visible changes are fixes in the memory maps and I/O definitions, and fixes in the disassembler. Other changes, more visible to *nix users, include code updates not to use functions deprecated in recent GTK+ versions (2.20). Some updates to internal documentation, too. To sum up things, not much so far.

Before TIEmu 3.04 release, Thibault Duponchelle (a.k.a Contra / azerti, also working on TiLem-NG) and I are working to make TIEmu at least not crash anymore when loading on a 64-bit computer savestates created on a 32-bit computer, and vice-versa. With the ongoing switch to 64-bit computers, we'd better fix TIEmu somewhat before this known bug bites too many users :)
Note that transparently handling savestates created by buggy TIEmu versions is significantly harder than transparently handling images created by buggy TIEmu versions (which I contributed in 2009 to TIEmu, before becoming a (co-)maintainer, and is already available in TIEmu 3.03).

NOTE: thanks to updates of the shared libti* DLLs, as a side effect of installing this setup program for a beta TIEmu _after_ installing the beta TILP version featuring Jonimus' UI improvements (see another topic of this section), http://lpg.ticalc.or.../beta/setup.exe , you can get Nspire OS 2.x support in TILP, which I added last week-end by integrating (with minor changes) a patch contributed on the SF bug tracker.

The GDB-enabled version will follow later - I think it would be best to try bringing the huge (more than 120 KB !) NSIS definitions to a more manageable state first. NSIS does support wildcards, but there's no single wildcard in the TIEmu+GDB NSIS definitions created by Kevin, weird...

Thanks in advance for testing ;)

Now that TiLP 1.14 has been released I can official announce me recent Project, making the TiLP II GUI actually make sense. :P so far I have revived the menubar from TiLP I as well as set it to listen to the users Icon theme settings for the main UI elements. Here are a few screenshots of the changes so far.

If you want to try it out I have patches and updated .glade files which should work with the latest TiLP release or the TiLP svn here http://thestorm.taricorp.net/tilp/ I will try to make some windows isntallers in the future which will be uploaded to the same place.

I have been shareing my changes with both Kevin and Lionel so whether your Distro of choice chooses to package CalcForgeLP or TiLP you should be able to reap the rewards of my work in the future.

If there is anything you want to see added or improved with the UI post your suggestions and I will try to implement them to w/e exttent I can.
